With the latest generation of the Audi TT entering the third era, Audi has unveiled its new TT RS successor after the latest generation model. Actually, talk about the devil because he is here and ready to be introduced to the world to see him at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show.
Like the last TT RS, this one begins life like, well, TT. He then gets the latest version of the same 2.5-liter turbocharged turbo engine that worked on the previous model. Now, however, this bee is massaged and nursed to do 400 hp. and 354 lb-ft of torque. This is an order of magnitude greater than the previous TT RS with a power of 355 hp. and 342 lb-ft, even in the form of a Plus-spec Plus.
Add to this the fact that the coupe also weighs 22 pounds lighter, with the convertible practically unchanged, and 62 miles per hour will take place in just 3.7 seconds for a fixed head and 3.9 seconds for a lowered top. Both are limited to a gentlemanly agreement of 155 mph, and both can be limited to 174 mph.
